The Central Bank has put into circulation new gold and silver coins “Common Squirrel”, the regulator reports on the official website.

The Central Bank issued new coins with squirrels of the series “We save our world”

Gold coins were issued in denominations of 50, 100 and 10 thousand rubles. On the 50 ruble coin, a squirrel is depicted in the foreground, on the 100 ruble coin, an animal in the middle shot on a pine branch. A coin with a face value of 10 thousand rubles depicts an adult squirrel with two squirrels against the background of a forest.

All of them are made of 999 gold. The circulation of each one is a thousand pieces. The ten thousandth coin weighs 1 kg.

The silver coins are made of 925 fine alloy and issued in denominations of 3 rubles (circulation 5,000 units), 25 rubles (circulation 10,000 units) and 100 rubles (circulation 75 units).

On the three-ruble coin, one squirrel is depicted on one branch, on the other two – two squirrels each.

All coins are issued in the “Save Our World” series. The inscription was placed on the reverse.

Previously, with a circulation of 5 thousand pieces, the Bank of Russia issued a three-ruble coin in memory of the founder of the Kino group, Viktor Tsoi.
