From September 1, 2023, the Russian government will conduct an experiment to select civil service employees using artificial intelligence.
For this, the State Personnel platform, created on the basis of Gostech, will be used. At the first stage of the experiment, the Ministry of Labor, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Digital Transformation, the Ministry of Economics and their subordinate organizations will take part.
The purpose of the experiment was called “methods for testing the implementation of personnel work using information and communication technologies.” It will last until November 1, 2024. The interlocutor of Vedomosti specified that the system allows “to track a representative in staffing, find and select candidates, including in external information, set tasks, evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of performance.”
According to the document, by 2030 a new HR information system for the development of civil servants should be created, providing for the use of AI.
