Bloomberg reports that Huawei has begun developing a network of secret chip factories in China.
According to the newspaper, the company has already bought two factories and built three more. All of them should help circumvent US sanctions and return semiconductor infrastructure to China.
Officially, Huawei operates in these organizations on behalf of other companies, without disclosing its participation, so as not to participate in new procedures and not to buy American equipment.
The US Department of Industry and Trade said that they are closely monitoring the repair. Tighter export control conditions are now being applied to China. [Bloomberg]
