The laser has proven to be effective at destroying drones in the immediate area. The laser did not disable the equipment, that is, it was used not as a “scrambler”, but for the physical destruction of the UAV.
A knowledgeable source said the laser burned the aerodynamic surfaces of the drones and burned the fuselage as well as the in-vehicle equipment.
