The client will be able to return the money if the theft occurred during a conversation with a fraudster using the Tinkoff Mobile number and the attacker acted according to the classic scenario: he introduced himself as an employee of a bank, a mobile operator and agents of the law. agencies etc.
In the event that Tinkoff warned the user about a potential threat (blocked, refused a phone conversation) and he himself decided to continue the dialogue with the scammer, then compensation should not be expected. The action of the service does not apply to fraud through calls to messengers, nor to scenarios of transferring money to accounts in other banks.
The company added that the service will work regardless of the bank transferred from Tinkoff to the scammers. In most cases, the bank will make up for losses within one business day, but sometimes a police request may be necessary to rule out the possibility of service abuse.
