According to website information hollywood reporterHE TikTok Launches the Finding Jericho series on the social network, with eight 30-minute episodes. The production is being co-developed with Pearpop company and creator Jericho Mencke and will air exclusively on the following channel. TikTok Live.
Mencke will interview internet celebrities such as Griffin Johnson, Sloane Veronico and Wasil Daoud, but will take the air of the production in a funny tone. According to Pearpop, the series was inspired by some comedy classics, such as: Borat, The Eric Andre Show and for you.
“Jericho’s haphazard and satirical ensembles always begin in one place and end where the audience finds the unimaginable. “His comedy is always clean, but with a uniquely bold tone for all ages,” said Pearpop CEO Cole Mason.
The first episode of Finding Jericho was published last Thursday on Mencke and Pearpop’s accounts (2). Subsequent episodes will air next Tuesday and Thursday at 9:00 PM PST (1:00 PM ET ET). Only the first two episodes are free — you’ll need to pay $4.99 (about R$23 at current price) to continue watching.
The launch of the series helps promote TikTok Live, a subscription program that offers subscribers various benefits such as private chat, custom emojis, badges, among other possibilities.
Creators can monetize exclusive content, but they must be over 18 and have at least 1,000 followers to join the subscription service.
