The project is implemented under the auspices of the National Technology Initiative and Ixarus. The simulator is equipped with a joystick that allows you to control the drone, and the VR glasses feel similar to the FPV glasses used in real flights.
Mikhail Sinakin, general manager of Ixarus, emphasized that the electronics of the simulator are almost completely ready.
A new drone simulator developed by another team is also planned to be added in the near future. This release will focus on the detailed preparation of scenarios for the use of UAVs in combat conditions.
Note that this project has a good chance of being an important step in training qualified operators for drones. It will not only provide high quality education, but also make it more accessible and effective.
