Support for some versions of Windows 11 21H2 will end soon. As of October 10, 2023, Home and Pro versions of this build will no longer be updated with monthly security patches.
Windows 11 21H2 was the first version of the new operating system. The compilation was released on October 4, 2021 with the first next-gen news, but many functions were still pending.
The October security update will be the last of this release, at least for the Home and Pro versions (marketed to the public). Other editions (Enterprise, Education, IoT Enterprise, and Enterprise multi-session) will continue to be supported until October 8, 2024.
So if you’re avoiding upgrading to Windows 11 22H2 (also known as “Moment 2”), it’s time to make the switch.
The version was released on September 20, 2022 and is currently in good condition, with occasional issues. Its support is guaranteed until October 8, 2024.
Windows 11 Moment 3 is now available
