Testers of iOS 26.4 are already expressing concerns about the performance of the new Siri, reports Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman.

iOS 26.4 is due out in the spring of 2026, so Apple still has six months to work with the assistant.

Gurman is confident that if the release of Siri is unsuccessful, then several more high-ranking artificial intelligence specialists will leave Apple.

Apple announced a major update to Siri in the summer of 2024, but delayed its release by one year in early 2025. At the presentation of iOS 18, the company showed Siri, which can perform actions in applications and recognize information on the screen. These features should appear in iOS 26.4.
