Clubhouse developers redesigned the app and added chats. Now the service has become similar to an audio messenger: it now has options for working with voice messages, and subscriptions have been replaced by adding as friends.
Clubhouse has updated the app. Chats have appeared on the service, the developers reported in a blog post.
Chats on Clubhouse are similar to audio stories. Voice messages can be listened to multiple times, transcribed and translated into the user’s language.
Instead of the subscriptions that existed previously, Clubhouse now has the option to add friends. Live streams will be saved, the developers noted.
The updated Clubhouse app is available for download on the App Store and Google Play.
In April, Clubhouse announced it was laying off half of its employees. At the same time, the founders of the service said that the company “should restart.”
