VTB will begin money transfers in rupees to India at the end of September. The maximum amount of one transaction will be 20 million rubles, the commission will be 1%. This was reported to RB.RU by the bank’s press service.
Customers will be able to transfer money through VTB Online or at a bank branch. The money is credited to the recipient’s account in India within two business days.
In January-August, the number of cross-border transfers in this bank increased by 3.5 times compared to the same period in 2022 and exceeded 140,000. The volume of transfers amounted to 20.8 billion rubles, with Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan in the lead. Top three.
