In the Russian market for data processing and control systems, complete import substitution is expected in 2025. For this year, specialized companies will have to stop using foreign software.
The volume of the market for database management systems (DBMS) and data processing tools in Russia in 2023 will be 67 billion rubles, in 2022 it will be 56 billion rubles, writes Kommersant with reference to the report from the USSR.
Market participants say that technological factors, including those related to the introduction of artificial intelligence (AI), will also stimulate market growth. So far, DBMS import substitution is progressing rather slowly.
