Telegram informed bot developers about the launch of a new currency, Telegram Stars.
It will be purchased by messenger users to pay for digital goods and services in bots and mini-applications. Users will purchase Telegram Stars using Apple and Google payment systems, depending on external systems.
Developers of bots and mini-applications will be able to withdraw Telegram Stars currency using the TON cryptocurrency.
Telegram Stars will be active until June 12. The company has been publishing additional documentation and APIs in recent days.
