To work easier and faster with GigaChat, the Sber team also prepared GigaChain (SDK), an adapted version of the LangChain library into the Russian language with support for the GigaChat API, which will allow developers to create their own AI applications that They use Sber technologies. .
The library standardizes typical use cases of various language models, such as working with strings, knowledge bases and documents, and also contains a set of ready-to-use queries (prompts) to solve business problems.
To obtain access to the GigaChat API, you must submit a request from a legal entity or individual entrepreneur and conclude an agreement.
Sber launched its own ChatGPT analogue in April 2023; It was available in trial mode upon request, as well as through SberBoom smart speakers. In early September, the company opened access to the GigaChat generative service to all users.
