In October, the Bank of Russia will introduce new ATMs with denominations from 1,000 to 5,000 rubles. Goznak is already actively printing them and their color will not differ from the existing ones.
The banknotes will have more security features than 100 ruble bills. Vice President of the Central Bank Sergei Belov told Izvestia about this.
At the end of August, the Central Bank put new gold and silver “Common Squirrel” coins into circulation. All coins were issued in the “Save Our World” series. The inscription was placed on the reverse.
Previously, with a circulation of 5 thousand pieces, the Bank of Russia issued a three-ruble coin in memory of the founder of the Kino group, Viktor Tsoi.
