Suppliers of small and medium-sized businesses in the new regions of Russia (the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics, the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions) since the beginning of the year have concluded 3,099 contracts within the framework of public procurement 223-FZ for an amount total of 6.8 billion rubles. These data are provided by the SME Corporation.
According to 223-FZ, organizations operate in the authorized capital of which, in addition to their own funds, there is a state participation of 50% or more. Currently, companies with state participation are required to make at least 25% of their total purchases from small and medium-sized companies.
Since the beginning of 2023, 352 clients and 857 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) have become participants in procurement under 223-FZ since the beginning of 2023 in new regions, the total amount is 6.83 billion rubles.
The main purchases included the supply of coal products, the provision of freight transportation services, security services, supply of animal feed and electricity.
- Currently, the DPR is the most active among the new regions in terms of procurement: 434 supplier SMEs have concluded contracts worth 3.7 billion rubles.
- In the Kherson region, 186 representatives of small and medium-sized businesses concluded contracts worth 1.8 billion rubles.
- In the Luhansk People’s Republic, 251 SME suppliers participated in the procurement for a total amount of more than 1.1 billion rubles.
- In the Zaporozhye region – 5 companies and 51.2 million rubles, respectively.
