Windows 11 22H2: users can now download update with Copilot AI

Users with version 22H2 of Windows 11 are already receiving a major update starting this Tuesday (26), whose main new feature is Copilot, Microsoft’s Artificial Intelligence (AI) platform.

Besides answering questions and searching the internet, “Windows ChatGPT” can help the user rewrite emails, play music on Spotify, edit images, solve equations, organize windows on the computer, enable settings such as dark theme and much more.

AI can be activated with the Windows + “C” command, by voice, or by using the new button on the Taskbar. When you click on the icon, a tab opens on the side of the PC screen.

Introduced in March this year, Copilot is integrated into almost all native Windows programs such as Microsoft 365, Clipchamp, Paint, Edge, Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Photos and others.

At an event last week, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella provided more details about artificial intelligence. For example, he said that mobile phones will be integrated into Windows 11 and therefore it will be possible to use artificial intelligence on mobile devices.

This new update for Windows 11 with Copilot also promises more than 150 new features for the operating system. According to Microsoft, anyone who updates the software will get new features like AI-powered edits in Paint, Cocreator preview, and more editing options in Photos.

It will still be possible to extract text from images in the screen capture tool, automatically save sessions to Notepad, and use a new address bar in File Explorer.

How to install

To check if the latest Windows 11 version 22H2 update is available, follow these steps:

• Click on the Start Menu;
• Type “update” in the search bar and select “check for updates”;
• In the Windows Update window, click “check for updates” in the upper right corner of the screen;
• If the update is already available, simply confirm the installation.
