The company stated that the aim of the cooperation is “to strengthen Ukraine’s defense sector, strengthen national security and create joint defense technology potential on Ukrainian territory.”

The partnership ensures technology transfer, creation of added value in the local market and rapid delivery of military equipment from Germany.

At the first stage, the main importance will be given to the maintenance and repair of the equipment transferred to Ukraine. At later stages, joint production of certain Rheinmetall products in the country is possible, as well as joint development of military systems by Ukrainian and German experts.
