Although the Apache helicopter and its technical manual are not new, these documents are still subject to restrictions and their public release constitutes infringement. Compared to previous leaks, the reaction to this incident was noticeably muted; many attributed this to an attempt to attract attention rather than an actual attempt to pass on classified information.
