Manufacturer Kama received 36 thousand pre-orders for the Atom electric car

Startup Kama announced plans to begin mass production of its own electric car in 2025 last fall. The company hopes to produce 450 thousand cars per year until 2030.

In early August, the manufacturer opened pre-orders for the car. As RIA Novosti was informed in the company’s press service, registration was available to everyone.

According to the company, the power reserve of the future car will be 500 km, a figure that will vary depending on the model. The car will accelerate to 100 kilometers per hour in seven seconds.

Last month, the carsharing company Delimobil signed an agreement with Kama JSC to provide the service with 25 thousand cars. And at the beginning of summer Rosatom became interested in the project: a subsidiary of the state corporation Renera bought about 23% of JSC Kama for 6.2 billion rubles.
