The Home Office has updated the tickets for a theory test to obtain a driver’s license. Questions on the rules for the use of electric scooters and other means of individual mobility were added to the task list.
This was reported to TASS in the press service of the department. The adjustment of the tickets is related to the changes in the traffic rules (SDA), which came into effect on March 1 of this year.
According to the regulations, electric scooters, electric skateboards, gyro scooters, segways, unicycles and similar devices are classified as means of individual mobility.
The maximum speed of circulation on them is 25 km/h. Electric scooters that weigh more than 35 kg cannot be used on sidewalks, bicycle lanes and pedestrians. In electric scooters of any weight, it is allowed to drive on the right edge of the road.
In addition, the entries included questions about the duration of signs 3.29 and 3.30 (“No parking on odd/even days of the month”), the new section of traffic lights, and the area of validity of sign 3.27 (“Stopping is prohibited”). when used in conjunction with the yellow horizontal line of the road marking (mark 1.4).
