This move comes after a Twitter user pointed out that conversations users had with Bard were indexed in Google Search.

Bard, a productive AI assistant that went public record in March, received an update this month that allows users to share their conversations by forwarding links to them.

This feature is probably why conversations are indexed. It is important to note that any conversation that is not forwarded to Bard is not indexed. This was said by Peter Jay Liu, a researcher at Google Deep Mind.

Although Liu’s comment reassures users, Google Bard’s warning about speech privacy may be misleading for many people.
