The former director of the low-cost airline Pobeda, Andrei Kalmykov, left his position as general director of the Perekrestok supermarket chain. He has led the company since August 2022, having previously led Pobeda since its founding.
Andrey Kalmykov left the post of general director of the Perekrestok supermarket chain. This is stated in a statement from the X5 Group, to which Perekrestok belongs.
“I wish X5 the successful implementation of its strategy and the achievement of unwavering leadership in the market,” Kalmykov said.
Kalmykov took over as CEO of Perekrestok in August 2022. He previously headed the low-cost airline Pobeda. Kalmykov has been the CEO of Pobeda since its founding.
The X5 report says that Kalmykov will undertake his own projects. Vladimir Salakhutdinov, director of strategy and business development of the X5 group, was appointed interim general director of Perekrestok.
