This feature, which has been rumored for months, will be offered to Android users first. Then, in the coming months, users of the web version with iOS will also have this version.
When you access this feature, you will see a smiling emoji 🙂 at the bottom of the message. By clicking on it, you can select the emoji you want from the menu and send it as a reaction.
Some emojis will have special functions; for example, the firework emoji 🎉 will play a full-screen animation.
The new feature will work similar to how we use emojis on social media. But there are limitations: Emoji reactions can’t be used on work or school accounts, or in emails or group mails sent to more than 20 people.
