Russian IT company TYMY won the pitch session at the Emerge startup conference in Istanbul. This was reported to RB.RU on TYMY.

Winners of this year’s Emerge pitch session can expect to attract investments of up to $1 million from venture capital fund Contribution Capital. Together with TYMY, the first place in the session was shared by Boomerangme from the US and Pass24.online from the UAE.

“We participated in EMERGE for the first time. […] We did not set out to attract investments for projects, but rather participated in the pitch session to receive feedback from technology leaders and share our experience,” said Alexey Maistrenko, CEO of the TYMY SaaS platform.

The TYMY SaaS solution enables large and medium-sized businesses to provide direct communications, fast document exchange and electronic signature, and simple financial relationships. The users of the platform are major Russian banks: Sberbank, Alfa Bank, Gazprombank and others. According to the company’s own data, transactions worth more than $500 million per month are processed through the TYMY document management system.

Pop-up pitch sessions are a competition for startups to pitch their solution to potential investors in one minute.

In 2023 the Emerge conference was held in Istanbul. More than 100 investors and venture funds from around the world, more than 150 startups and 1.5 thousand delegates participated.
