Startup Keygo, which develops a short-term home rental service with an automated check-in and check-out system, raised $500,000 from a group of investors and received a valuation of $3.5 million, as reported to RB.RU a Keygo representative.

Startup Keygo, originally from Yandex, raised $500,000 for the development of a short-term rental service

Among the investors in the first round are the founder of the RBI Eduard Tiktinsky, the co-founder of the Muzlab streaming service Viktor Khristenko, the head of the Yandex e-commerce business group Daniil Shuleiko, the investor of the Duoband restaurant group, the head of the St St. Petersburg branch of the Angelsdeck venture capital club Sergei Limonov, Sergei Bugorsky, Alexander Akopov.

Keygo was founded by Gevorg Beglaryan and Dmitry Sigov, who launched and developed Yandex products in international markets, in particular Yandex.Taxi and Yandex.Food.

The startup is developing a short-term rental service for residential real estate with a full range of services for clients: from searching and booking a suitable option, through accompaniment during the stay to check-out and cleaning the local. The company has completely automated some of the processes: instead of the classic reception, users have access to 24/7 in-app support; Check-in and check-out of the apartments is carried out without employees or owners of the premises.

The startup rents long-term (on average, one year) to homeowners, completes the interior and equips the apartments with personal and household items.

RB.RU organizes a project meeting Founders Monday for beginners and experienced entrepreneurs. Twice a month on Mondays.

Keygo currently manages more than 50 apartments in Bangkok and Yerevan. The startup is aimed at the markets of second-tier countries, such as Southeast Asia and Latin America, said the project’s co-founder, Dmitry Sigov.

The startup’s plans include a portfolio of more than 10 thousand apartments in 10 countries in the next four years, as well as the launch of its own application, where it will be possible to reserve homes without commission (currently Keygo properties are available on the Airbnb platforms , Booking, Ostrovok.ru, “Daily.RU”).
