These are the same chips produced using Samsung’s 5nm process technology. They were used in Pixel 6 and Pixel 7 smartphones and were prone to overheating and consuming excessive power.

But with the release of Android 14, the situation has changed dramatically. Pixel users began sharing their impressions of how their devices started running cooler and more efficiently.

One Pixel 6a owner noted that after the update, his smartphone started working smoothly and provided more than 8.5 hours of screen time.

Another Pixel 6 user was amazed at how cool his phone stayed, even when used in high temperatures at the beach.
