The aim of the association is to legalize the industry by legally importing cryptocurrency mining equipment and connecting it to the energy infrastructure. The association plans to work with regulators to create a transparent legal framework and improve industry standards.
By industrial mining the association understands operators of data centers whose energy consumption exceeds 5 MW, who pay commercial tariffs for electricity, who legally import and operate mining equipment. The main objectives include the protection of legitimate market participants against unfair competition, especially “gray” and “black” miners. In the future, the association plans to provide miners and industry participants with a platform for the collective protection of their interests and rights, including legal disputes and negotiations with third parties.
