Car-sharing service Citydrive will cooperate with electric vehicle manufacturer Kama. The companies signed an agreement for the development and promotion of new technologies. Citydrive told RB.RU about it.

Citydrive plans to acquire Russian Atom electric vehicles for its fleet

The service can purchase a thousand Atom electric vehicles from the first production series for its fleet. In addition, as part of the joint work, a digital platform will be developed to operate an electric vehicle in carsharing.

The platform will allow personal data to be saved and transferred in each user’s car.

Citydrive was the first of the federal car-sharing networks to add electric vehicles to its fleet. In June, Moskvich3e went into operation.

Serial assembly of Atom electric vehicles is planned to start in 2025. At the beginning of October, the manufacturer Kama received 36,000 pre-orders for the future car.

Another car-sharing company, Delimobil, has already shown interest in Kama cars. The company plans to purchase 25,000 electric cars and has signed a collaboration agreement with Kama.
