Technical evidence was sent to a nearby port for “cataloging and analysis” and possible human remains were sent to forensic scientists.
“Safety engineers from the US Coast Guard Marine Accident Investigation Commission located and removed the remaining Titan wreckage and evidence from the floor of the North Atlantic Ocean,” the department said in a statement.
