According to the latest data from Counterpoint cited by Gizmochina, the best-selling “large foldable” smartphone was one of the latest foldable phones, the Honor Magic V2, which sold 8 million units.

In second and third place, respectively, are Huawei Mate X3 and Huawei Mate X5. Market experts admit that Huawei may displace Honor in the near future. Analysts view leadership turnover as a natural and common occurrence in a competitive market.

The share of Chinese manufacturers in the global foldable smartphone market is 58.6%. Global sales are also growing, with the market up 10% year-on-year in the second quarter of 2023.
