In Tomsk, on the basis of the Siberian State Medical University (Siberian State Medical University), a laboratory studying the functioning of the brain in conditions of information overload began its work. It focuses on the study of the basic mechanisms of brain functioning and cognitive abilities under conditions of information load and the development of new solutions in this field.

Laboratory staff investigate how humans and animals adapt to information load, especially in the field of education. They assess the psychological state of students and teachers to develop personalized methods to increase their resilience against information overload.

The scientific community still does not have a clear understanding of what information overload is and how to deal with it. The laboratory aims to contribute to this field by providing recommendations for improving cognitive health and information resilience for students.
