Scientists from Moscow University. Lomonosov developed a material that could be used in future quantum systems operating at ordinary room temperature. This material, similar to the namite mineral, has a structure that could be useful in creating qubits used in quantum computers.

Currently, quantum technologies such as quantum computers often require extremely low temperatures to operate, making them difficult to use. However, the material created by scientists has the potential to work under normal room temperature conditions due to its structure with transition metal atoms that form chains and layers.

Experiments confirmed that this synthetic namibite remains magnetized at room temperature, making it a unique target for studying spin entanglement at room temperature. This discovery could eliminate the need for extremely low temperatures, opening up new possibilities in quantum technology.
