Registration of channels and pages on social networks has started at State Services, with more than 10 thousand subscribers, reports the Ministry of Digital Development.
It works like this:
1. The owner of a Telegram channel or page on a social network fills out an application in which, among other data, it is necessary to indicate the phone number for the corresponding channel and the number of the phone administrator.
2. The application is assigned a unique number, for which you must follow the link in the pinned message or channel description within 3 days for Roskomnadzor to confirm your affiliation.
3. Within 10 days, Roskomnadzor will decide to include the channel/page in the list
4. After inclusion in the list, you must create a link in the description to the entry in the Roskomnadzor register.
If the owner of a channel decides not to include it in the registry, then advertisers will not be able to advertise in them, and other channels will not be able to repost their messages. These restrictions will come into force on January 1, 2025.
