The creation of these scientific facilities belonging to the “Megascience” class will represent an important step in the development of physics and mathematics in the country and will contribute to the achievement of world scientific results.
Proposals in this regard will be developed jointly by the government, the state company Rosatom, the Kurchatov Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the National Research Center and will be submitted before February 15, 2024.
Additionally, as part of this initiative, the creation and development of at least seven new laboratories at the National Center for Physics and Mathematics will also be discussed. These unique scientific research facilities will contribute to the creation of technologies based on synchrotron and neutron research.
