According to the head of the press service Alina Khakimzyanov, this development is especially relevant in those regions of Russia where access to rehabilitation centers is limited. Artificial intelligence is being used to create a “virtual trainer” that evaluates the accuracy of rehabilitation exercises and helps increase patients’ self-confidence.

This system, which is available for temporary use by patients, significantly reduces the cost of post-stroke recovery. The “virtual trainer” is installed on a regular home computer and allows more effective monitoring of patients by maintaining constant communication with the doctor. The developed program includes exercises whose accuracy is evaluated, and a medical professional develops an individual rehabilitation plan.
