Microsoft on Thursday featured “The Circle” as part of its new Xbox marketing campaign, paying an estimated $450,000. Three-dimensional Xbox game controllers and the brand logo were visible on the screen.

Sony followed suit just a day later with a 90-second commercial for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, featuring Venom and more making a dramatic appearance from The Sphere.

These marketing extravaganzas coincide with the start of Twitchcon, which will take place in Las Vegas this year.
