The environmental project “The Earth Touches Everyone” and the “Geosemantica” team have launched a map of recycling collection points Recyclemap, the press service of the “Earth Touches Everyone” project reported.
The map allows you to find the nearest collection point for glass, aluminum, plastic and other raw materials. Now he has more than 30 thousand points.
Since the end of May 2023, the Recyclemap website has stopped working. This happened after Greenpeace, which oversaw the project, was recognized as an undesirable organization in Russia.
Now the map has filters by fractions of recyclable materials; detailed item descriptions listing all accepted recyclable material types and modes of operation; comments on articles from users and the date of the last update of the information; Mobile version with the ability to add an application to the menu screen.
Recyclemap also allows you to add new items, suggest corrections and leave comments; find a nearby location using geolocation; create a route to the selected point using Google and Yandex.Maps.
