The project includes the construction of underground facilities where the main module of the station will be located.
It is planned to install inflatable structures on the lunar surface. In the future, the station is planned to be expanded by adding new modules, including “solar fields” and communication stations.
The temperature inside the inflatable module will be maintained at 25°C, while in the underground chambers the temperature will range from -17°C to -43°C.
The project is part of global efforts to explore the Moon and create conditions for long-term human stay in an extraterrestrial environment.
China is actively developing its space program, and the latest development will be an important step towards the implementation of these plans.
