Instagram* decided to test a feature that would allow users to send photos and videos to someone else’s carousel. This was announced by the head of the social network, Adam Mosseri, and VC drew attention to the statement.
Now the author has the opportunity to open the possibility for subscribers to suggest images for the user to publish in the carousel.
And the user themselves will receive an “Add to post” notification, which will allow them to approve or reject the proposed content.
Instagram launched carousels in 2017. The feature appeared in version 10.9 of the app. In 2021, the social network added Collabs. This option allows two users to create joint posts.
*Meta and its Instagram Facebook are recognized as extremist and terrorist organizations in the Russian Federation and are banned.
