AI systems in banks use mathematical models to analyze transactions and identify anomalies. Regular withdrawals of large amounts may raise suspicions about such a system, especially if they occur immediately after the money is transferred to the card. Shamil Magomedov said that as a result of this reaction, the banking transaction may be postponed for additional verification.

As the expert explains, in such cases, the client may be asked to confirm the transaction using an SMS code, fingerprint or by answering a call from the bank. Such measures make it possible to ensure the legality of the operation.

A bank’s AI system tries to protect customers from potential fraud, but sometimes legitimate transactions can be suspected. It’s important to note that a close family or business relationship between the sender and recipient can reduce the likelihood of a transaction being accidentally blocked. Magomedov stated that in this context, it is worth noting that the words specified in the “payment purpose” line do not have a decisive effect on the decisions of artificial intelligence.

Artificial intelligence is playing an increasingly important role in ensuring the security of financial transactions, but it is also important to understand how its systems work to avoid unnecessary delays and inconvenience during banking transactions.
