The first results of testing the new Apple M3 Max processor have appeared in the modern Geekbench benchmark.
The chip in the MacBook Pro scored 21,084 points in multi-core mode and 2,493 points in single-core mode. By comparison, the M2 Ultra in Mac Pro scored 21,182 points, and in Mac Studio 21,316 points in multi-core mode. That is, these chips have the same power.
However, the M2 Max was 45% faster than the M2 Max.

• M3 Max: 21,084 (16-inch MacBook Pro, top score)
• M2 Max: 14,495 (16-inch MacBook Pro, average)
• M1 Max: 12,185 (16-inch MacBook Pro, average)
• M3: 11,836 (14-inch MacBook Pro, top result)
The new MacBook Pro will be available on November 7th.
