One of the players, who goes by the nickname Sleestack, said that Steam management deprived him of access to Diablo IV at the request of Blizzard.

To confirm his words, Steam provided a response from support, which, among other things, mentioned the possibility of a refund for the purchased copy of the game.

A conflict situation arose when a user tried to top up his in-game account using a debit card from a Kazakh bank and changed the region on his Steam profile. The game was purchased using the same card.

After trying to pay 1000 platinum, the virtual currency was not transferred to the user’s account, resulting in a call to technical support. After several days of correspondence, the support staff returned the money for the microtransaction, but at the same time the player lost access to the game and his account was transferred to the Russian region.
