Solomatina noted that peppermint is known to effectively relieve tension and help people who are stressed or have difficulty falling asleep. Additionally, mint lowers blood pressure.

According to the nutritionist, mint can be added to fatty meat dishes – plant extract helps digest heavy foods. Mint also has a choleretic effect.

“Mint is good for calming and lowering blood pressure, dilating blood vessels,” the expert said.
