First of all, in the cold season, you should drink a sufficient amount of liquid per day – at least 2-2.5 liters of water. You can also choose weak tea made from sage, rosehip and linden.
It is also recommended to consume at least two portions of fruit and three portions of vegetables a day. This also applies to seasonal products. Choose zucchini, carrots, broccoli, white cabbage, cauliflower, leeks, parsley, oranges, tangerines and apples. Eat legumes (beans, chickpeas, lentils) and nuts (about 20-30 g of hazelnuts, almonds, walnuts per day) two to three times a week.
Don’t forget vitamin D. You can get it from the fish you need to eat 2-3 times a week. Avoid foods containing simple carbohydrates and lots of fat. Instead, eat foods containing complex carbohydrates: whole grain bread, cereals, legumes, fruits, dairy-based or low-sugar fruit-based desserts, foods prepared in “healthy” ways.
