OpenAI launched a tool that can create alternative versions of ChatGPT during DevDay this Monday (6). Screen prints and videos shared on networks show “GPT Builder” in practice. It allows you to create chatbots for specific purposes in minutes.
By vehicle, any user can create a chatbot with GPT-4 model technology (nicknamed “GPTs”) without the need to modify the code.
According to the company, this functionality allows you to define the default greeting, name, description, instructions, basic information, and dialogue tone.
The creation screen also gives developers advanced options such as adding more information to the chatbot, enabling extra capabilities for the AI (for example, internet access and rendering), and adding personalized actions for the bot.
At the end of the process, there is a panel to check the preview of the chatbot where the user can enter text inputs and check the result generated by the customized bot.
AI for specific uses
The idea is to allow people to develop a ChatGPT clone for specific uses. During the event, the company presented a writing assistant that can analyze text in a PDF file, but without the user having to provide many details about the task.
All user-created GPTs will be available in the GPT StoreA kind of “AI store” from OpenAI. There are no details about the platform yet, but it is supposed to be something similar to the app store but focused on chatbots.
Creation of new GPT Store and chatbots It will be exclusive to ChatGPT Plus subscribers. Currently the monthly package costs $20 (approximately R$97).
