Unlike its analogues, this chip has 12 cores and 14 threads, which allows you to move away from the usual scheme typical for similar processors.

An interesting configuration includes 2 P cores (Redwood Cove), 8 E cores (Crestmont) and 2 low power E cores (Crestmont). With 12MB L3 cache and clock frequencies from 2.10GHz base up to 4.4GHz, the U-series chip targets a 9-15W TDP.

When tested on a new laptop with 32GB of DDR5 memory, initial Geekbench 6 results showed a single-core score of 2174 and a multi-core score of 9396. While these figures aren’t groundbreaking, the chip is an early sample or experiencing optimization issues.
