Details on the alleged new Chromecast

Cheaper?

There is a good chance it is a new dongle as it is a USB powered device, plugs into TVs and offers remote control. There were even rumors that the company was working on a new Chromecast a while ago.

The quality of the resolution suggests it could be a cheaper Chromecast, as similar devices that offer 4K can be found for not too exorbitant values like the Roku Express 4K Plus, available in Brazil for an average of R$259.

Google did not comment on the matter and the existence of the new Chromecast has not been confirmed. If the product actually exists, the news could come out in the second half of 2022.
