How to pay with QR Code in Google Wallet?
To use QR Code payment functionality in Google Wallet You must have a credit or debit card issued by one of the service’s partner banks, save it in the digital wallet app and verify in the financial institution’s app. After this process is completed, it will be possible to pay by approaching or reading the code.
When paying at a physical store, ask the clerk to: create a QR Code for card payment. Once the code appears on the machine, open the Google Wallet app, select the QR Code option on the home screen, point the camera at the screen and wait for it to be read.
Then check the purchase details and confirm the payment with authentication via password or biometrics, depending on the card issuer and the value of the transaction. As big tech explains, the app will always require the mobile phone to be unlocked before an action and then you can request a new unlock for security.
Purchases can be paid in cash or installments, and the receipt is recorded in the app as well as issued through the machine.
