Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov gave an interview to the student news channel MGIMO 360.
During the interview, he said that he has not yet given up the iPhone. Speaking about criticism in Russia of “everything Western,” Peskov noted:
Somebody [в администрации президента РФ ] will receive an iPhone, someone has already refused. I still use an iPhone.
It’s probably right to always focus on the best. And you must agree that the iPhone is a wonderful invention. Both the operating system and iOS are something that we have not yet been able to do at home.

However, he said that the system is vulnerable “from the point of view of ensuring the security and safety of digital data.”
